Hoping this isn't too far off-topic considering the current vibe of the sub. This platform doesn't seem to have much for fans of 90's pinball and onwards. Personally, I just don't enjoy the older/EM style of pinball. I still can't get nudging working on my controller (the main issue stopping me only playing this) Fiddly to set up with roms and multiple settings needing to be tweaked. + INCREDIBLE selection of homebrew and real tables (Deadpool, Adams Family! Yes!) (It's been a very long time since I tried this one, but I remember feeling like it was a big step down in quality compared to the Williams stuff in PFX3) Production is pretty poor compared to Zen. Physics just don't seem quite right to me. Getting into the top 100 took me multiple hours on a single credit. Physics are basic and high scoring games get repetitive with predictable ball trajectories. *Very "*video gamey" (Can be a pro and a con depending on what you're after) + Bullet hell elements are interesting and different from anything else I've seen in pinball + Very cool theme, plays like Devil Crush but modernized. Unfortunately, none of these match the great physics found in Zen's output, but some come close. While I've spent the most time in PFX, by far, here are a few that come to mind. I'd love to hear about what other pinball video games you play, and the pros and cons of each. I figure a few others may be in a similar position. Between the poor performance and abhorrent ticket pricing model, The release of Pinball FX on Epic is deeply disappointing.Īs much as I adore FX3, and as much money I've spent on the platform, I think it's time I start looking for other Pinball games to keep me busy.
